Contest Terms: Contest commences on March 24, 2026 and closes on April 16, 2026 at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Eligibility: Entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the contest closing date, be a legal resident of Ontario, follow the official DIXON linkedIn page and like the giveaway post. Entrants must also complete the quick registration from below and provide their LinkedIn profile name or URL. Employees of the Sonepar Canada group and/or any of its divisions and their immediate families are NOT eligible to participate. 

Agreement to Official Rules: Participating to the Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of these Official Rules and decisions of Dixon, Division of Sonepar Canada Inc. (“Dixon”), which are final and binding.

Entry: 

No purchase necessary. Entrants may receive one (1) entry for the duration of the Contest period by legibly printing their first and last name, Company name, email address and phone number (optional). Entrants are entitled to a bonus entry if they register via the landing page. However, to be eligible, an email capture is required.

*Prize: The prize will consist of one (1) Meta Quest 3 VR Headset (512 GB), which prize is non-transferrable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded in “as in, where is, with all faults” conditions. There are no warranties, expressed or implied on the prize. Dixon is not responsible for local, provincial, federal or any taxes or cost to make said prize legal in Canada, all shipping costs, transportation and insurance has to be covered by the winner and Dixon is not responsible for any damage or theft of item after 48 hours of the winner being notified. Dixon will not be responsible for repair or any damage to the prize. 

Prize Draw:  Will be conducted by Dixon, division of Sonepar Canada Inc. within 2 weeks of the Contest Close Date. All decisions are final. The entrant selected as a winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these rules and regulations and winning is dependent upon fulfilling all such requirements. Following verification of ballot(s), skill-testing question and signed release, the prize will be awarded to confirmed winner. Sonepar is not responsible for notifications that are misdirected or not received because of information that is not correct. If a winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days after the first attempt to contact such winner, an alternate entrant will be selected at random from all entries received. If the prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, the winner will be disqualified, and another winner will be selected in the original winner's place. Winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility within fourteen (14) days of the first notification attempt. 

Winner: Sonepar will attempt to post the contest winner to the web site or through Sonepar social media channels within thirty (30) days of contest closing date.

Conditions: By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest. By accepting the prize, winner consents to the collection, use and disclosure to the public of their name, address (city, province/territory), voice, statements and photographs or other likenesses for publicity purposes in connection with the Contest in any media or formats including, but not limited to, the Internet, without further notice, permission or compensation. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Sonepar may use the winner's name, and picture for advertising and promotional purposes without further consideration, unless prohibited by law. Personal information will not otherwise be used or disclosed without consent. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT SONEPAR, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, ITS AFFILIATES AND ALL OF SONEPAR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND REPRESENTATIVES, WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS FOR ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, AND PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST OR ANY PRIZE RELATED ACTIVITY. Subject to all federal, provincial and local laws, void where prohibited.

Other: All Registrations/entries are subject to verification. Sonepar reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to Sonepar) to participate in this Contest. Failure to provide such proof in a timely manner may result in disqualification. A winner may be requested to provide Sonepar with proof of personal identification.  In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any contest-related materials, including, but not limited to: the contest entry form, and/or point of sale, television, print or online advertising; the terms and conditions of these rules shall prevail, govern and control. Sonepar Ontario – Division of Sonepar Canada Inc., can change and/or replace the prize at any time during the promotion without notice.

Contest Disclaimer: Sonepar reserves the right to make revisions to, cancel or suspend this contest for any reason including but not limited to a cause beyond the reasonable control of Sonepar, which affects the administration, or security of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sonepar will aim to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. The Sponsor and/or its affiliates own all intellectual property, including, without limitation, all trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the Province of Ontario.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsors in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Province of Ontario or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Province of Ontario.

Liability Disclaimer: Except as explicitly provided in these Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time, Sonepar and the Third Parties make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding dixon.ca and/or any content provided on the FLYER, all of which are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Sonepar and the Third Parties do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability or suitability of the operation, or any of the content or data found on FLYER or  sesco.ca, mgm-electric.com, dixonelectric.ca, and expressly disclaim all warranties and conditions in respect of FLYER and  sesco.ca, mgm-electric.com, dixonelectric.ca , its content or data, including implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and those arising by statute or otherwise in law or from a course of dealing or usage of trade.

Indemnification: You shall indemnify and save harmless Dixon, division of Sonepar Canada Inc. and the Third Parties and their respective officers, directors, employees, consultants, representatives and agents from and against any claim, cause of action or demand, including without limitation reasonable legal, accounting and other professional fees, brought as a result of your use.

Relationships: The relationship between Sonepar and you will be that of independent contractors, and neither of us nor any of our respective officers, agents or employees will be held or construed to be partners, joint ventures, fiduciaries, employees or agents of the other as a result of these Terms and Conditions.
